MaGiX SVN Server

Only the MaGiX Participants can access the subversion server. For security reasons, the only way to access to the subversion server is via ssh. A ssh-client must be installed in your machine. Each access can request your account passphrase twice. To avoid typing and retyping your account password at each access you must configure your ssh-client to use public key authentication.

In order to import the current SVN tree you should do:

svn co svn+ssh://your_login@harry.medicis.polytechnique.fr/magix

where your_login is your account login.

Then you will get a folder named magix containing two folders named:

• your_login: This folder is your private domain (your are the only one to have rights access on this folder)

• public: All the MaGiX Participants have read and write access on this folder.
